CTH “K” from STH 12 to the Rock County Line
The Jefferson County Highway Department will be resurfacing CTH “K” from STH 12 to the Rock County Line. The work is scheduled to take place beginning the week of April 1, 2024. CTH K will be closed in 2 phases. Phase 1 will close CTH K starting at Star School Rd going south to the Rock County Line. Phase 2 will close all of CTH K from STH 12 to the Rock County Line. The existing deteriorated asphalt pavement will be pulverized followed by the installation of culverts. Upon completion of the culverts, the roadway will be graded and compacted prior to paving the roadway.
During construction the roadway will be closed to through traffic, but access will be maintained to local residences and businesses, as well as emergency vehicles. The road will remain closed until approximately end of June 2024, depending on the weather. During construction please find an alternate route to travel.

CTH "K" Closure - Jefferson to Fort Atkinson
The Jefferson County Highway Department will be resurfacing CTH “K” from Jefferson to the Fort Atkinson. The work is scheduled to take place beginning the week of April 29, 2024. The existing deteriorated asphalt pavement will be milled and upon completion of the milling, the roadway will then be repaved.
During construction the roadway will be closed to through traffic, but access will be maintained to local residences and businesses, as well as emergency vehicles. The road will remain closed until approximately end of June 2024, depending on the weather. During construction please follow the posted detour.
