Cold Spring County Park is a small wayside adjacent to the hamlet of Cold Spring off County Highway N. The park is primarily used for picnicking. A historic marker commemorates the place where Abraham Lincoln's horse was stolen in 1832 while camping for the night on his way back to Illinois from the Blackhawk War. Amenities include a shelter, swing set, handpump well, restroom and a little free library.
